During our Foundations Class, you’ll focus on mastering these essential movements:

Squats (Front and Back): The squat is one of the most fundamental movements in strength training, targeting your legs, glutes, and core. We’ll teach you how to perform both the front squat and back squat with proper form, so you can avoid common mistakes like improper knee tracking or poor posture.

Deadlifts: This movement is all about building strength in your hamstrings, glutes, and lower back. Learning the correct setup, hinge, and lift technique will not only make you stronger but also protect your lower back from strain.

Power Cleans: The power clean is an explosive full-body movement that improves speed, power, and coordination. We’ll break it down step by step so you can approach the barbell with confidence.

Strict Press: Also known as the shoulder press, this exercise targets the upper body, particularly your shoulders and triceps. You’ll learn how to maintain a neutral spine and avoid compensating with your lower body.

Push Press: A progression of the strict press, the push press incorporates a slight dip and drive from the legs to help you lift heavier weight. We’ll show you how to harness the power from your legs to get the bar overhead safely.

Push Jerk: This movement builds on the push press by adding a jump under the bar. It’s a more advanced overhead lift, but we’ll help you break it down into simple steps so you can execute it with good form.
