For me, training is no different than eating or sleeping at this point.
It's a huge part of my life, but some days I can be reluctant or unmotivated, just like everyone else. Sometimes you may not want to do anything, you may not want to be in the gym at that time, but the moment you step into the gym with this mentality, you are the winner. Maybe you may not get any physical results that day, but as a mentality, you will definitely stay much stronger and more determined.
In these kinds of situations the first thing I put in front of me is progress. Every day, I try to push myself in small steps, at least in the best way I can for that day. I never believed in very strict diets or in training too long or just focusing on something specific in my workouts. On the contrary, if I had to drink beer, I drank beer, if I wanted to eat chocolate, I ate chocolate. Maybe I can do better.
When you look at it like this, there are hundreds of possibilities, but at least if I have gone one step further for that day, it is a success for me. Even if I couldn't go, it is a success because you may not always get results, but you are there with determination and if you work for it, sooner or later you will reach the place you want to reach. I try to continue the next day as prepared as possible, this is the most critical point for me to train regularly to get the best results.
Believe the process, stick with the process, do not focus on the short term always look for to the long term results.
